A browser extension for Solana memecoins

Open a coin. Watch the canary.

Kanari sits on the coin page and reads four public signals in a few seconds: who made it, who bought together, how new the holders are, and whether it is a copy. Then it sings, squints or squawks.

  • Read-only
  • Free
  • Uses your own RPC key
Pl. 1
Serinus trenchensis, reading a coin. Example coins, invented data

You'll know by the bird.

Every read ends in one of three songs. The marks behind it are one click away, so you can see exactly why.

fig. a

Sings

Nothing in the four marks stands out. It's still your call.

fig. b

Squints

One or two marks look off. Read them before you buy.

fig. c

Squawks

Several marks are bad at once. Look very hard first.

Four field marks.

Birders tell one species from another by a few marks you can check at a glance. Kanari does the same for a coin, using public chain data only.

A coin page, with the four marks pinned. Example, invented data
  1. 1

    Maker dev history

How many coins this wallet launched before, and how those ended.

  2. 2

    Flocks bundles

Wallets that bought in the same moment, or were funded from the same place, and how much of the supply they hold now.

  3. 3

    Fledglings fresh wallets

Top holders whose wallets are less than a day old.

  4. 4

    Mimics copies

Earlier coins that used the same name, ticker or picture.

It only reads.

  • Nothing to sign

Kanari never asks your wallet for anything. It can't send, swap or approve.

  • No keys, ever

It never asks for a seed phrase or a private key. If something calling itself Kanari does, it isn't Kanari.

  • Your RPC key stays put

The key you paste is kept in your browser's own storage and only goes to your RPC provider.

A singing canary is a read, not a promise. Memecoins can go to zero.

Set it up once.

Four steps in Chrome, Brave or Edge on a computer. You need a free RPC key from Helius and nothing else.

  1. 1

    Download and unzip

Keep the folder somewhere it can stay. The browser loads Kanari from it.

  2. 2

    Turn on Developer mode

Go to chrome://extensions and flip the switch in the top right.

  3. 3

    Load unpacked

Pick the unzipped kanari folder. The bird appears in your toolbar.

  4. 4

    Paste your key

Click the bird, paste your Helius key, then open a coin page. Kanari lands on it.
